This self-paced microskill course introduces the framework of the Contestable Works Process and focuses on the role of the Level 3 Accredited Service Provider (ASP) in electrical infrastructure delivery. Participants will learn how Level 3 ASP’s projects are initiated, designed are certified. The course also covers the key stakeholders involved and how electrical network documentation supports successful project delivery across the construction lifecycle.

This course provides a practical introduction to the Level 3 Accredited Service Provider’s role within projects in New South Wales.

Learners will explore how contestable electrical infrastructure is designed, certified and integrated into construction projects, including the roles of network authorities and different ASP levels.

The course explains the contestable design process, approval pathways and coordination requirements that influence project planning and delivery.

Designed for beginners, this micro-skill course simplifies complex electrical infrastructure processes. It helps construction professionals better understand the impact network designs have on their projects, reduce their coordination risks and communicate more effectively across these disciplines.
